Malik Padgett

Educator CEO of Arano Media Group and Author of "Unintentionally Biased and Exposed"

Malik Padgett is a Nova Southeastern University graduate student pursuing a Doctorate in Education. With a concentration in Organizational Leadership, education is a precious commodity that Padgett believes should be preserved, and freedom of expressing the values stemming from education should be protected for future generations. Padgett affirms that every good leader should aspire to be a greater student, meaning that the voyage of life is about engrossing knowledge along the journey we endeavor to attain while never wholly arriving at its final destination. Relocating to Miami in 2003 from the New York area, Padgett imagines transformational leadership as the foundation for building relationships while at the same time, embracing the values of ethical principles established through conviction, mutual admiration, and integrity.

Padgett is an educator, lecturer, and author of the soon-to-be-released book "Unintentionally Biased and Exposed". Padgett possesses a double major: a Bachelor of Sociology and Legal and Policy Studies from Fordham University and a Master of Science in International Real Estate from Florida International University.

Padgett is an unfaltering activist for the equality of educational opportunities, fiercely advocating that education is the key to transforming lives. Moreover, service to others should be the fundamental value we seek. In our pursuit of self-realization, the world that centers around each of us must be more about encompassing the united strengths we collectively possess instead of the minor differences that prevent human cohesion. Lastly, in the pursuit of justice, Padgett maintains that rehabilitated lives challenge systems of oppression and racial and social disparities and foster environments that support parity and equity among all for the benefit of all.

How Transformational Leaders Ignite, Challenge, and Empower The Best in Humanity

Transformational leaders have a profound ability to ignite passion, challenge conventions, and empower individuals to reach heights they might not have believed possible. Through their visionary thinking, they paint a compelling picture of the future, making it not just a distant dream but a tangible goal. They connect on a deeply personal level, understanding and valuing the unique attributes and aspirations of each individual. By leading with authenticity and integrity, they become exemplary role models, setting standards not just for work, but for character. Their emphasis on continuous growth pushes individuals out of their comfort zones, yet their support ensures that every challenge is met with resilience.

Moreover, transformational leaders have an innate sense of emotional intelligence, enabling them to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with grace and understanding. Their interactions are marked by genuine empathy, allowing them to foster deeper connections and engender trust. This trust is crucial as they often challenge the status quo, encouraging their teams to question existing paradigms and seek innovative solutions. Their ability to empower is unparalleled; they cultivate environments where individuals feel safe to voice their ideas, take risks, and learn from failures. These leaders are not just focused on short-term achievements but are committed to the long-term development of their followers.

Their resilience in the face of adversity serves as a beacon of hope, instilling tenacity and determination in their teams. In essence, transformational leaders don't just lead organizations; they elevate the human spirit, catalyzing profound change and inspiring collective growth. In conclusion, transformational leaders stand out not just for their ability to achieve organizational objectives, but for their profound impact on the human spirit. They blend vision with empathy, challenge with support, and innovation with integrity. By recognizing and nurturing the potential in others, they don't merely create successful teams or businesses; they sculpt a brighter, more innovative future for society. Their leadership transcends traditional roles, igniting passion, challenging norms, and empowering individuals to be the best versions of themselves. In a world filled with diverse challenges, the transformative power of such leaders becomes not just desirable but essential for shaping a better, more collaborative, and compassionate future. Where many see obstacles, transformational leaders see opportunities for growth and change. Their leadership style is a testament to the belief that with the right guidance, inspiration, and environment, humanity can achieve remarkable feats. They remind us that true leadership is not about holding power, but empowering others, not about following the path, but creating new ones, and not just about success, but about significance. As we move forward in an ever-evolving world, the ethos of transformational leadership will be instrumental in guiding us towards a more united, innovative, and hopeful tomorrow.

Critical Thinking: The Framework of Decision-Making

Critical thinking possesses the suitable foundation for indispensable decision-making, which noted by Tropman (2022), provided a formulated, essential roadmap to how leadership supports team members. In essence, Tropman (2022) expressed these tools are necessary to deliver foundational principles for developing a successful organization. When leaders probe subject matter through quizzical analysis, then evaluate the data through acute reasoning, the conclusion produces a solid, fundamental game-plan for determining how to set goals. In addition, problem solving is directly attributed to the ability to simultaneously connect contradictory thoughts, with a clarity of ideas, correspondingly referred to as the Janusian thinking theory (Tropman, 2022). Pippin et al. (2021) asserted similarities by having acknowledged critical thinking plays a vital role in many professions, including business sectors where quantitative analysis is the defining message. Pippin et al. (2021) continued by having addressed the factors that involve cognition and calculated discernment are directly allied with metacognition, the cultivating of over-all mental implementation.

I would describe the first step of critical thinking as the inquiry phase, the foundation that provides unyielding, cerebral sustainability. This phase of critical thinking is comprised of innovative rationality that Liddel et al. (2022) defined as practicability standards environmental engineers should consider using to determine product and infrastructure viability; moreover, referencing ecofriendly, product-lifecycle standards. Next, the evaluation phase of critical thinking (in this example – sustainable energy) assesses how creating renewable energy resources benefit the environment through the manufacturing of goods and services. Finally, the conclusion phase or decision-making phase emmeshes the initial idea with the final resolve, which in this case, is the disposal of refuse in a manner that sustains the environment. Hell et al. (2021) conferred to this phase of critical thinking, the decision-making phase, as the problem-solving, final step where the culmination of logic and concept, intersects one another.
